Riverhawks Named to MDJUCO, Region 20 All-Academic Teams

NJCAA Region 20 and the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (MDJUCO) have announced their respective All-Academic Teams for the 2024-25 year. Anne Arundel Community College saw 20 student-athletes named to the Region 20 All-Academic Teams and 21 student-athletes named to the MDJUCO All-Academic Team.

AACC placed nine student-athletes on the Region 20 All-Academic First Team, two on the Second Team, and nine on the Third Team. To be named to the First Team, student-athletes must have earned a 4.0 GPA; Second Team honorees had a GPA between 3.80 and 3.00, and Third Team recipients had a GPA between 3.60 and 3.79.

To be named to the MDJUCO All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have completed two full-time semesters with a minimum of 24 semester hours completed in the current academic year, as well as have participated in at least one varsity season at the college from which they were nominated and obtained a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
