Six Riverhawks Named Academic All-District®
Student-athletes recognized for academic and athletic excellence
ARNOLD, Md. – Six student-athletes from Anne Arundel Community College have been named to the 2026 Academic All-District® College Division At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators. The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom.
Matt Donaldson (Baseball) and Cullen Boswell (Men's Lacrosse) were named to the men's at-large team. Eden Abey (Women's Soccer), Megan Strevig (Women's Soccer), Holly Wall (Women's Soccer), and Nadia Suber (Volleyball) were named to the women's at-large team.
Outstanding student-athletes are nominated for Academic All-District® recognition by communications directors and must be a sophomore both athletically and academically, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, have played at least a full season for their team, and had to have started in at least 66% of the institution's games played or competed in at least 90% of the team's contests.
The College Division Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) governance structure. The College Division is comprised of institutions from two-year and Canadian institutions and other institutions who are not affiliated with the NCAA and NAIA divisions.
