YOUNGWOOD, PENN. – The Anne Arundel Community College men's basketball team improved to 3-2 in Region 20 divisional action Saturday with a 94-80 win at Westmoreland Community College. AACC recorded its highest offensive output of the season in the game, and shot 52% from the floor in the game.
Truth Norton led the Riverhawks with 24 points on 10-of-12 shooting, adding seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals to his line. Jeremiah Stroman added 22 points with five rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block.
AACC led, 49-31 at halftime and despite being outscored in the second half, held on for the 14-point win.
The Riverhawks, who stand in fourth place in the Region 20 Division III standings, host Division I Harford Monday at 7 p.m. and Division II Potomac State Wednesday at 4 p.m.
