ARNOLD, MD – Led by seven goals from John Thibodeau, the Anne Arudel Commuity College men's lacrosse team defeated host Carroll Community College, 23-3, Tuesday evening in Westminster.
Sam Weisshaar was the top point producer with four goals and five assists. Trevor Collier added three goals and four assists, while Francis O'Hara and Nick Barton each added two goals and a pair of helpers. Sam Barrett had a two-point game with a goal and an assist. Poles Jacob Kotelchuck and Niles Tinsley scored, while Nick Neff and Wes Morgan each added one goal.
Conner Westervelt faced one shot in the first quarter. Griffin Tucker made one save on the only shot he faced in the second and third quarters. Kolby Hood closed out the game facing one shot.
Mark Kelm went 23-26 at the faceoff x, a career-best performance. Barton was successful in his only faceoff attempt.
AACC closes out the regular season Friday in a 4 pm game against Mercer County Community College.
