ARNOLD, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College men's soccer team opened the 2021 spring season with a 3-0 victory over visiting Hagerstown Tuesday night. The Riverhawks allowed just two shots on goal in the game, both saved by freshman goalkeeper Ethan Miller for the shutout win.
Eddie Contreras, Nicholas Tziamouranis, and Ryan Bollinger all scored for AACC, which outshot Hagerstown, 27-2.
Contreras scored in the 19th minute, followed by Bolinger's goal in the 24th off of a Tziamouranis coner kick. Tziamouranis buried a cross from Trevor Militello in the 72nd minute to cap the scoring.
AACC is back in action at home on Tuesday, April 13, in a 5 pm game against Carroll Community College.
