KEYSER, WV—The Anne Arundel Community College men's soccer team held on to an early second-half lead to earn a 2-1 victory over host Potomac State in NJCAA Region XX action Tuesday evening.
Nick Llerena put AACC on the board just 1:28 into the second half off an assist from Sam Adams. Raphael Arias gave a 2-0 lead in the 58th minute with the assist coming from Silas Baker.
Jason Meckley made three saves to earn the win, his first as a Riverhawk.
AACC (2-2) hits the road again Thursday for a 4 pm game at Allegany.
