Bri'ana Oliver Earns MD JUCO All-Team Honorable Mention

ARNOLD, MD – Anne Arundel Community College women's basketball player Bri'ana Oliver has earned a spot on the 2015-16 All-MD JUCO Honorable Mention Team, as voted on by the league's coaches.

Announced Monday, Oliver is AACC's sole representative on the 10-woman list.  The sophomore guard for the Riverhawks averaged 14.3 ppg, posted a field goal percentage of 39.6%, shot 79.8% at the free throw line, and 28.1% from beyond the arc.  Bri'ana recorded double digit points in 18 of her 22 games played this season with a career high 31 points in a close loss to LaGuardia Community College.

AACC will look to Oliver and the rest of the women's basketball Riverhawks as they take on Montgomery College this Saturday for the first round of the Women's NJCAA DIII MD JUCO Region XX Tournament.  Tip-off for this first round contest is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. in the Jenkins Gymnasium.
