ARNOLD, Md. — Anne Arundel Community College dropped a 70–45 decision to Delaware Technical on Wednesday at Jenkins Gym, as the Riverhawks struggled to overcome a slow start and 23 turnovers.
Kellie Harring and Kiara Vaselaros each scored 10 points, with Vaselaros also recording six assists. Kaylee Motsinger contributed eight points off the bench, including a made three. Chloe Underwood pulled down 11 rebounds, adding four points, two assists and a steal in 31 minutes. McKenzie Gilbert also corralled 11 boards to go with three steals and two points.
The Riverhawks showed fight on the boards, finishing with 56 total rebounds, including a season high-tying 22 offensive boards.
AACC trailed 19–6 after the first quarter before settling in offensively during the second stanza, where they posted 17 points, their strongest frame of the night.
AACC generated 19 points from its bench and found some momentum late behind Motsinger, Julia Fox, who totaled four points, and Gabi McFarlan‑Wisniewski, who added seven points and 10 rebounds.
AACC (0-21) wraps up the season at home Sunday, hosting Westmoreland at 1 p.m. in Jenkins Gym.
