Game Notes

              The Riverhawks defeated the NJCAA DI Region XX Cardinals of CCBC Catonsville 2-0 this past Friday night (10/6) – handing the Cardinals their 9^th straight loss of the season.

              AACC wasted little time setting the pace of the game as they seemingly dominated with ball control starting from the first whistle. While outshooting the Cardnals 10-0 through 45 minutes, the first half would end 1-0 in favor of the Riverhawks as Gabriell Keogh (Gambrills,Md/Arundel) finished off an assist from Angelina Horan (Annapolis, MD/Calverton).

              The second half would be a continuation of the Riverhawks' dominance with controlling the game but they still struggled to finish on their shots. Despite outshooting the Cardinals 14-1 in the second half, AACC wouldn't score again until Keogh would finish off a PK shot at the 83^rd minute.

              Next on the schedule for the Riverhawks is another NJCAA DI Region XX opponent – the Hawks from the College of Southern Maryland. The Hawks are currently 3-2-1 on the season and 2-2-1 in the conference. The match is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday (10/10) at Siegert Stadium of the Anne Arundel Community College campus in Arnold, MD.
