FREDERICK, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College women's soccer team suffered an 8-1 setback at Division I Frederick Tuesday afternoon. The Riverhawks benefitted from a Cougars own goal in the 63rd minute, but could not otherwise find the back of the net among six shots.
Freshman goalkeeper Sarah Ward made a season-high 14 saves in the loss.
AACC is off until Friday when the Riverhawks will welcome back former student-athletes for their annual Alumni Game at 7 pm.
