AACC to Host Region 20 DIII Volleyball Championship Saturday
Riverhawks face Penn Highlands in semifinals at 1 pm
ARNOLD, MD – Anne Arundel Community College will host the NJCAA Region 20 Division III Volleyball hampionships Saturday, October 23, at Jenkins Gym. The second-seeded Riverhawks play Pennsylvania Highlands in the day's second semifinal at 1 pm.
Butler County Community College earned the number one seed with a Region 20 DIII record of 4-0. AACC's record of 2-1 earned them the second seed. Penn Highlands earned the third seed at 2-2, and Howard earned the fourth seed at 1-3.
The day's first semifinal tips off at 10 am with Howard facing Butler. AACC and Penn Highlands face off at 1 pm, and the winners of both semifinals will play at 4 pm. Please note game times may be adjusted based on pace of play throughout the tournament.
Admission to the tournament is $5 for general admission, $3 for students with ID, and free for kids age 12 and under. Re-entry is permitted throughout the day. Tickets are available at the gate using a credit card or cash.
Parking for the tournament is free in lots M and D. Handicap parking is available adjacent to Jenkins Gym.
Concessions (cash only) will be available throughout the tournament in the Jenkins Gym Lobby.
Masks covering both nose and mouth are required inside all buildings at AACC regardless of vaccination status.
