Bautista Named All-Region 20

ARNOLD, MD – Anne Arundel Community College outside hitter Karen Bautista has been named All-Region 20, it was announced recently. The honor marks the second for Bautista, who also earned All-Region accolades in 2019.

In 13 matches this season, Bautista averaged 2.88 kills and 1.47 digs per set, and had a hitting percentage of .221. She recorded five double-digit kill performances this season including a career-high 22 kills against Pennsylvania Highlands in the 2021 Region 20 Division III tournament.

AACC finished the season with a 6-9 record after advancing to the Region 20 Division III championship for the first time since 2018.
