Ezeiruaku Named All-Region 20
Freshman outside hitter named to honorable mention team
ARNOLD, Md. – Anne Arundel Community College outside hitter Emily Ezeiruaku has been named to the 2025 All-Region 20 Honorable Mention Team, it was announced this week. Ezeiruaku led AACC in several stat categories, both offensive and defensive.
The freshman from Odenton averaged 2.08 kills and 3.0 points per set for the Riverhawks, totaling 127 kills in 19 matches. Ezeiruaku also led AACC with 191 total digs, ranking second on the team with 3.13 digs per set. She totaled 47 service aces on the season.
Ezeiruaku recorded double-digit kills on three occasions, recording a career-high 15 in a four-set match against Carroll in mid-October, when she also scored a career-high 21 points and hit five aces. She had two 20+ dig matches, recording 24 at Harford in late September and a career-high 28 against Allegany in mid-October.
AACC finished the season with a 4-16 record, picking up three Region 20 divisional wins along the way.
