Mandy Jellerichs was named head coach of the women’s cross country program in November, 2024.

Jellerichs is no stranger to the Arnold, Md. campus, as she is also an adjunct professor in the School of Health, Fitness and Exercise Studies and in the School of Continuing Education and Workforce Development.

Jellerichs has been training multisport athletes of all ages since 2002 through her own company, Jellerichs Training Systems, specializing in training distance runners and triathletes.

A lifelong runner, Jellerichs has completed more than 125 marathons, including 12 Boston Marathon finishes. She has also completed nine Ironman competitions. Jellerichs has served as an Achilles Foundation guide in the last seven New York City Marathons, and has also served as a pacer in the Houston and Las Vegas Marathons.

Jellerichs is also an instructor at the nearby YMCA, routinely leading courses in cycling, running, and strength training. She volunteers her time with the LightHouse Homeless Shelter in Annapolis and as a Discovering Abilities instructor.
