HAGERSTOWN, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College men's soccer team won its third game in a row Tuesday evening, needing extra time to secure a 1-0 win at Division I Hagerstown. Charles Warari scored the game-winning goal in the 95th minute.
Jack Castle connected with Warari under five minutes into the extra session. The goal marked the second game-winner this season for Warari.
The Riverhawks dominated play throughout the match, outshooting the Hawks at a 26-7 clip. Goalkeeper Zane Saab was tested only four times on the day, including once in the 92nd minute. He improves to 2-0, securing wins in his two starts.
AACC, which is halfway through a six-game road trip, has outscored opponents 10-2 through three games. The Riverhawks travel to Caroll, Montgomery, and Howard in a seven-day span to close out the trip.
