ARNOLD, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College women's basketball team closed out its regular season home slate Saturday, falling to visiting Montgomery College, 78-45. Sophomore Sarah Healy paced AACC with yet another double double (10 pts, 20 rebs).
Healy, Autumn Foster-Fields, Lacey Hinkle, and Caitlyn Stanbery were all honored prior to the game for their contributions to Riverhawks women's basketball.
Montgomery led 22-7 after the first quarter and limited AACC to just 16 first-half points en route to a 30-point lead at the break.
Foster-Fields recorded all of her 12 points in the second half, as the Riverhawks almost doubled their first-half total in the third quarter alone. A closer fourth quarter saw AACC shoot 43% from the floor.
