ARNOLD, MD. – The Anne Arundel Community College volleyball team served up a 3-0 loss to visiting Baltimore City Community College in non-region action in Jenkins Gym Tuesday evening. Setter Mia Keen recorded a career-high 13 aces in the match.
AACC snapped a four-game losing streak with the win, recording set scores of 25-10, 25-10, and 25-9.
Jaymee Green had seven aces in two sets played. Keen added six kills as the Riverhawks hit .372 as a team on the night and never trailed throughout the match. Eight different Riverhawks recorded at least one kill in the match.
AACC has a busy road weekend ahead as they face Howard and Westmoreland at Westmoreland Friday and Butler and Kent State Tuscarawa in Butler, Pa., Saturday.
